Op zaterdag 25 april organiseert De Nederlandse School in Bethesda, in samenwerking met de Nederlandse Ambassade en D.C. Dutch, een feestelijke Koningsdagmiddag vol Nederlandse tradities voor kinderen en hun ouders. Let op: dit evenement staat los van ons Koningsdagfeest op 24 april.
Het programma zit boordevol: doe mee aan de koningsspelendans, zing het Wilhelmus, speel oud-Hollandse spelletjes en laat je schminken. Op de vrijmarkt kun je snuisteren kopen en verkopen en bij de marktkraam vind je een selectie aan Nederlandse producten. Kom met honger want er zijn oranje cupcakes, saté, vegetarische hapjes en poffertjes.
Een mooie gelegenheid om samen met je kinderen te genieten van de Nederlandse cultuur en tradities. Trek je oranje outfit aan dan zien we je graag op 25 april.

On Saturday April 25, De Nederlandse School in Bethesda, together with the Dutch Embassy and D.C. Dutch, is organizing a festive Dutch King's Day afternoon full of Dutch traditions for children and their parents. Please note: this event is separate from our Dutch King's Day celebration on April 24.
The program is packed: sing along to the Dutch national anthem, play traditional Dutch games, and get your face painted. Browse the flea market and stop by the market stall for a selection of Dutch products. Come hungry — there are orange cupcakes, satay, vegetarian bites, and poffertjes.
A good opportunity to enjoy Dutch culture and traditions together with your children. Put on your orange outfit and we look forward to seeing you on April 25!
